Privacy notice

Who this is about

Quickxify is a two-person web design studio. This notice covers https://www.quickxify.com and the enquiry form on it. If you have a question about anything here, email info@quickxify.com or call (647) 570-0334.

In effect from 4 August 2026. If it changes materially, the date changes with it.

What we collect

From the enquiry form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, industry, an existing website address if you have one, your description of the business and its customers, the type and size of site you want, features you have selected, style preferences, inspiration links, brand colours, any copy you paste in, your launch timing, your domain status, and any notes you add.

Files you upload: your logo and any photographs you send for use on the site.

Basic technical information that any web server receives, such as your IP address and browser type, handled by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

We never ask for payment card details on this website. Invoices are sent separately and paid through your bank or card provider, not through this site.

The contact step is saved before you submit

This is worth stating plainly. The form has several steps, and when you complete the first one — your name, business name, email and phone — those four details are saved to our system at that moment, before you reach the end and press submit.

It is there so that if you get interrupted halfway through, we can still reply to you rather than losing your enquiry entirely. It does mean that starting the form and abandoning it still leaves us your contact details. If you would rather we did not keep them, email us and we will delete them; see "Asking us to delete it" below.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, prepare your first look, quote the work accurately and build your website. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for anyone else's advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If we ever want to email you about something other than your own project, we will ask first.

Which services process it

Your answers and uploads are stored in Supabase, which provides our database and file storage. Notification and confirmation emails are sent through Resend. The website itself is hosted by Vercel. Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions, and each has its own security and privacy terms.

These providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States, so your information is transferred and stored there. If that is a problem for your business, tell us before you send anything and we will arrange another way to take your brief.

While you are filling in the form, your answers are also kept in your own browser so you can leave and come back without losing progress. That copy is on your device and clearing your browser data removes it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into projects, including abandoned contact steps, are deleted once they are clearly not going anywhere and in any case within twelve months.

Records for projects we do deliver are kept for as long as we need them to support the site and to meet accounting and tax obligations, which in Canada is generally six years. Your logo and photographs are kept while we are building and supporting your site.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking or analytics scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The only browser storage used is the copy of your own form answers described above, which exists so you do not lose your work.

If analytics are added later, this notice will be updated first to name the provider and say what it collects.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for us to hold it. You do not need to give a reason.

Email us and we will reply within five business days. There is no charge, and asking will not affect how we treat your project.

Asking us to delete it

Email info@quickxify.com with the address or phone number you used and say you want your details removed. We will delete your enquiry, any uploaded files and the saved contact step, and confirm when it is done.

The exception is records we are legally required to retain for a completed, invoiced project. In that case we will tell you exactly what we have to keep and why, and delete everything else.

If you are not happy with our answer

Tell us first and give us the chance to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, which oversees private-sector privacy under PIPEDA.
